Hubby & I had dinner here last night. We arrived at 5:00, & the place was packed inside & outside. I was skeptical we would find a table. But we were seated right away. Hubby had a beer & I had Sangria. The Sangria had a heavy pour. They don't skimp on the alcohol. The drinks came out in a reasonable time. We ordered the breaded mushrooms. Hubby ordered the club on sourdough brea, and I had the taco salad. I asked for ranch dressing in addition to the salsa & sour cream. Our server was great at keeping our water & drink glasses filled even though everyone working we're slammed. She did a great job! Our food took a little while to come out, but for a full house it wasn't bad. We got our meals before the mushrooms came out. Our sever noticed right away, and went to get them. Who I'm guessing is the manager came over right away and apologized. They provided excellent service! The mushrooms were warm, but not hot. They were so good. I highly recommend the mushrooms. I wasn't a fan of the garlic aioli served with them, so I asked for ranch. The ranch is runny. Hubby liked his club sandwich & fries. It had plenty of meat on it. He wasn't a fan of the chipotle Mayo on it. He would prefer just Mayo on a club sandwich. My taco salad was missing the ranch dressing, but again our server fixed this right away. It was good, but I probably wouldn't get it again. It was heavy on the lettuce, but not on the other ingredients. The bowl was good & crispy, and not oily. The bar is a bit loud, but I'm sure it's because of all the people in a small area. The place is packed, and a hopping place. The outstanding service will definitely make us come back.
I stopped into Tukee's for lunch while waiting on Discount Tire across the street to slap some new shoes on my vehicle. My order of smoked Golden Hot wings came out quickly and were excellent. Some of the best wings I've had in quite a while, in fact. Meat was super tender with a distinct smoked flavor, and the Golden Hot sauce added that perfect tang. I have a high heat tolerance so requested a side of their Extra Hot sauce to dip in as well. Found it have an enhanced yet tolerable level of spice while remaining quite flavorful. Also my server was very friendly and I appreciate the sports bar ambiance which was perfect to catch some of the first round of March Madness. Highly satisfied.
Honestly this is about my 10th time back, if not more. Maddie was killing it today and the staff vibe was on point w/ the crowd... getting after it! Of course "Kissed by the sun, Melissa," doing her thing to get the drinks out while the Team in the Kitchen are slang'n plates full of food like a clay pigeon shoot on Sunday... Great team here!! Give them a try. During the week, 1-230 are the best times.
I adore this place. The staff is friendly & the customer service is truly above & beyond. It's never too crowded when I go, & the drinks are delicious & not too strong.
Love this place with a great patio! Just got some chip and house made queso-had them add grilled jalapeños. Wowza good! All good I have had here is damn good!!!
First time in so can't say perfect score but I will say I enjoyed my near 2 hours in. Wish I got a picture but the smoked wings are a must! Golden medium, crushed them! Highly recommend. Bar is a little awkward due to the design but the bartender was very nice and was sure to grab my attention. I didn't have a problem getting service which I was a little worried about given the design and crowd size. Locals bar for sure and now that I live in the area I look forward to going back. Crowd was friendly and that's what matters when it comes to locals. Tons of TV's as well, multiple games on.
Love Tukee's sports grill. It was so funny when cold beer and cheese burger opened up. They have this banner about it that showed friendly competition. To me, it shows personality. I have your bar favorites and they have trivia too! I haven't been yet, but it's on the list of things to do in ahwatukee. Sometimes the place can be super busy, and someone they're out of the beer you want, we love IPAs. I think I'd like it if they carry more IPA options draft. Even still, it's a great place. I've gotten the fried mushrooms and the taco salad. Every time I get the taco salad, I'm just satisfied. The tater tots are amazing too.
